From March 23rd to 24th, the sub-forum “Control Science and Engineering” of the Shanghai University-wide International Young Scholar Forum and sub-forum of the “Huixian International Forum of Young Scholars Information Technology” were grandly held at ECUST. This forum was co-hosted by the Department of Human Resource, School of Information Science and Engineering, and Key Laboratory of Advanced Control and Optimization for Chemical Processes of Ministry of Education.
In this forum, there are 23 young scholars attendees from well-known overseas universities and research institutes such as Stanford University, University of California, San Francisco, University of New South Wales Australia, King's College London, University College London, University of Surrey, Loughborough University, Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Kyoto University, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, and Singapore Institute of Communications. They made wonderful academic presentations on international frontier topics such as Smart Manufacturing, Smart Grid, Network Security, Brain-computer Interface, Driverless Cars and Computer Vision, which are very welcomed. The question-and-answer sessions have also attracted many attentions from the audiences.
