报告摘要:

In this talk, I will present a hypothesis testing problem using multiple sensors, some of which might be compromised by a malicious attacker and send arbitrary measurements to the fusion center. Roughly speaking, this talk is on the cost of security, i.e., is possible to design a detection rule that has decent performance regardless of the presence of an attacker, or is there a fundamental trade-off? We provide the fundamental limits of the trade-off between the worst-case detection performance of a fusion rule when the attacker is present (termed as security) and that when the attacker is absent (termed as efficiency). We further provide detection algorithms achieving these limits.

任肖强,2012年本科毕业于浙江大学,2016年于香港科技大学获得博士学位,现在新加坡南洋理工大学做博士后研究员。他的研究兴趣主要包括物理信息系统的安全,网络化估计与控制。
